This House Is The Reason I Think Most Interior Designers Suck

Ok, so as you all know, I love bad reality TV. And the bad reality TV I probably love the most is the Real Housewives franchise on Bravo. I watch every season, know every housewife...I'm in it to win it, ppl.

The addition of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this year has been nothing short of epic...and I pretty much love every goddmamned second of it. But these photos of Demi Moore lookalike housewife Kyle Richards house kinda make me want to take my own life.

B/c she has a beautiful house, and all the $$ in the world, and yet it's VERY clear to me that she hired a 2nd rate interior designer, with no sense of space, drama, intrigue or warmth. I mean, look at this bullshit:

[COOL SHIT] Vacation Houses

Here's how my relationship with real estate has worked out so far: for awhile, alllll I could think about was: "OMGZ, HOW AMAZING WOULD IT BE TO JUST OWN OUR HOME ONE DAY????" And then we did....and it *does* rock. But now what? Am I supposed to just give up and die? NOOOOO. Now my ass is just spending all day/night dreaming about a vacation house!

I'm adaptable!

Our vacation house is GORGEOUS...and adorable...and perfect. It's in the Catskills....or maybe Connecticut...or fuck it, even Pennsylvania. But its in some fab cute, chic little town, and not too far away from civilization (i.e. maybe a big movie theater...or, gasp, Tarjay even!).

Ok, look: I can't afford a house in the Hamptons. And I'm a human, breathing person, so duh...of course I'd *like* to have one.

I often think that I'd like to have any vacation house really, only I'm realizing that that's not true. Cause after reading this WSJ article, I've realized I sure as fuck don't want a vacation house in Rockaway Beach.

Will we *actually* be able to do this? Based on the fact that I can't stop buying shit on Gilt,who the hell knows.
